New Orleans Silk Screened Linen Pocket Square

55.00

The New Orleans Pocket Square is based on a map from 1798 complete with the old ramparts around the Vieux Carre, adjacent plantations and the vast cypress swamps that created the landscape. It was updated in the 1800s to include additional faubourgs, or neighborhoods, that were developed outside of the original city.

It is hand silkscreened in New Orleans using a white linen, a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant creating a texture that is soft but crisp.

The slub weave used adds to the aesthetic appeal of the luxurious natural textile, giving the fabric an organic, tactile look and feel.

This timeless piece is hand-finished with hand rolled edges, a mark of sartorial excellence.
