Frequently Asked Questions
Hi! I'm so glad you're here. Below are answers to some of the questions I get most often about my work, materials, process, and policies. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out—I’d love to hear from you.
ABOUT MY JEWELRY
What makes your jewelry unique?
Each piece is handcrafted by me using a process that combines traditional metalwork with a modern, eco-conscious etching technique. I’m inspired by the intersection of urban structure and natural form—think historic maps, architectural ironwork, and the way cities evolve and interact with nature.
What materials do you use?
I primarily work with sterling silver, brass, copper, gold-fill, and rose gold-fill. All pieces are nickel-free and made to last with proper care. More information about my materials is here.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Do you make custom pieces?
Yes! I occasionally have time to work on custom pieces. I love working with clients to create meaningful custom pieces, especially when they incorporate places that hold personal significance—like a map of a neighborhood, a building detail, or a special landmark.
How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders usually take about a month from start to finish, depending on the complexity. If you have a deadline, let me know and I’ll see what’s possible.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Where do you ship?
I ship throughout the U.S., and internationally in some cases. Shipping rates and options will show up during checkout.
When will my order ship?
Ready-to-ship pieces go out within a few business days. Made-to-order and custom work take longer. You can find more information here.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
I want you to love your jewelry. I accept returns on unworn, non-custom items within 10 days of delivery for an exchange or store credit. Custom pieces and items with more than 25% off are final sale. You can find the full return policy here.
JEWELRY CARE
How should I care for my jewelry?
To keep your piece looking its best, avoid wearing it in the shower or exposing it to lotions, perfumes, or harsh cleaners. Store it in a dry place and use a polishing cloth if the metal needs a refresh. For more information, see the full care page here.
Will the metal tarnish?
Brass, copper and silver naturally oxidize over time—many people love the soft patina this creates. But if you prefer a bright finish, it’s easy to bring the shine back with a soft Sunshine polishing cloth.
